Welcome to North Haven

One of the fourteen unbridged island communities in the area, North Haven is located in Penobscot Bay about 12 miles off the coast of Rockland, Maine. The ferry to North Haven operates thrice daily. Between three and four hundred residents live in the island-town year-round and seasonally. One of the best activities in North Haven is to visit the North Haven Arts and Enrichment at Waterman’s Community Center. It is a nonprofit organization that includes a theater, community room, and coffee shop. They offer year-round programs and summer camps for children. Another great activity is to visit The Carrier Ceramic Art Gallery. Also on the island, there's a beach, a golf course, and some shops and restaurants, offering the perfect, well-rounded day out and about.

Wildlife Control in North Haven

While it's a blast to see the squirrels running around the golf course, it's not so fun when they're in your home! Wildlife problems are more than just a nuisance--they are dangerous. Wildlife leave behind droppings that spread diseases. If the animals die in your home, the decomposition smell is not pleasant to live with, not to mention the bugs that dead animals in your home attract.
